The Urbecon Crime and Community Safety Unit (UCU)
brings together academic researchers and consultants to offer a comprehensive service of advice and assistance on every
aspect of crime and community safety.
Members of the unit have worked together over the past decade on a wide range
of research projects, monitoring and evaluation studies and development of strategies and funding proposals, for the
Home Office, for local authority community safety units and for local Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnerships.
UCU members have not only research capabilities but also practical experience of national
and local government and in the law.

In short, we can research, assess, plan, evaluate and report. In
some circumstances we can assist with the implementation of plans and the development of appropriate training programmes.
