a variety of appropriate evaluation methods and skills. Our consultants have evaluated schemes supported and managed under
various central government and European Union funding regimes at all levels from the national to the local and have contributed
to the development of evaluation toolkits at national government level. We have managed evaluations with budgets ranging from
under ten thousand pounds to more than £400,000 involving project costs running into the millions.
Our evaluation technique
is adaptable and flexible and can meet a variety of needs. We have examined locally based efforts to attract young people
to acquire engineering skills, planned developments of business incubator facilities, police operations against high-volume
crime, professional training schemes, SRB programmes and marketing strategies, neighbourhood wardens and drug intervention
programmes, access to medical services, local and regional economic strategies, waste transport and handling procedures and
music and dance projects for young people.
Our evaluation skills are backed by a track record of direct involvement
in operations. In many cases, we can bring to bear the experience of managing programmes and so an understanding of
the issues at stake when evaluations are conducted.
